BEIJING, May 2 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 43 km NNW of Chamical, Argentina at 0504 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 30.01 degrees south latitude and 66.51 degrees west longitude. ■
